Internet Marketing

Small businesses could see a number of online marketing benefits by setting up their own blog, it has been suggested.

When executed correctly, blogs can improve search engine optimisation (SEO), draw in potential customers and position the organisation as a knowledgeable entity, according to the US News & World Report.

On the subject of SEO, expert blogger Chris Brogan said: "Small businesses are starting to understand that people don't come to your main web page. They ask Google."

Those looking to begin blogging may do well to read other blogs first, deploy only straightforward SEO strategies and try not to worry too much about uploading lengthy posts on a regular basis, the US News & World Report stated.

Technorati recently published figures suggesting that the average blogger has been maintaining their online journal for about three years and that the number of new blogs being registered continues to grow unabated.ADNFCR-1093-ID-18801476-ADNFCR
