Video ads 'to evolve'

The video advertising sector will see significant changes over the next decade, according to father of the internet Vint Cerf.
Consumers will exert more control over what they see in videos and will be able to engage more with content in the future, the Google chief internet evangelist said on the search engine's official blog.
He gave the example of clicking on a certain part of a video to bring up both commercial product information and a range of related data.
Mr Cerf went on to note that this could have implications for other areas of business.
"Conventional videoconferencing will be augmented by remotely controlled robots with an ability to move around, focus cameras and microphones and perhaps even directly interact with the local environment under user control," he remarked.
The post came as part of a series of speculative pieces on how the internet will change in the next ten years to celebrate Google's tenth anniversary.
Previous posts have looked at the future of search, mobile and social networking, among other platforms.
