Online marketers 'can ride out the storm'

Visitor Conversion

There are a number of strategies at the disposal of online marketers to help them get through the current recession, a blogger has asserted.

Mark Simpson, managing director of Maxymiser, wrote on E-consultancy that despite the fact many consumers are tightening their belts during the credit crunch, correct targeting on a website can increase customer loyalty and attain greater efficiency.

He added that content optimisation technology can help online marketers assess which combinations of web design and content are most successful in converting sales through clear statistics.

Mr Simpson explained that using these statistics, marketers can achieve better visibility of such metrics as click-through rates and conversions.

Earlier this month, Linda Sheetz told Hit Search Limited that other strategies marketers can use to improve the success of a website include a contact us form to collect information for more direct marketing and to add fresh content on a regular basis through a blog.ADNFCR-1093-ID-18791655-ADNFCR
