The new iPhone released by Apple has ensured that those designing websites have had to change the way they think about their tasks, it has been claimed.
Analysts told Business Week that consumers are beginning to look at the mobile web in a different light as a result of the fresh device.
Principal interaction designer at LDS Church Cameron Moll said he enjoys looking at websites that have been created directly for iPhone use.
Meanwhile, Partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield Byers Matt Murphy added that the iPhone has really shaken up the industry because it comes with a real browser.
In related news, pages developed exclusively for the mobiles must be targeted specifically at consumers, Nisheeth Mohan wrote on the EE Times.
He stated that different telephones have different requirements and these should be taken into account by service providers.
