Govt's toolkit fix

A new online Rapid Evidence Assessment Toolkit helps researchers find information and answer policy questions, a chief scientist has claimed.
The government's Social Research Unit (GSR) created it to help them use Rapid Evidence Assessments (REAs), which give users information on current policy.
Its role is to give quick access to data as "the policy process cannot always wait a year or more for reliable social research", Professor Wiles, head of GSR, explained.
The toolkit covers when to use REAs and planning, carrying out, commissioning and communicating findings.
By developing new websites and applications, web developers are increasing the availability of information for social and commercial gain.
Internet users now expect to see links to reviews, feedback forums and user-generated content across web pages.
The Decade of Data study by MarketingVox revealed fewer consumers now visit stores, "without first researching their purchases".
