Mag goes to the other side

Free fortnightly magazine, The Other Side, will move to the digital realm with its new social networking site, the Press Gazette has reported.
Devised by editor, Sam Lassman Watts and designer, Rebecca Woods, the publication was initially distributed to commuters on the Northern Line of the London Underground.
Mr Lassmann Watts said the idea of the site is to "build up a community and be interacting with our readers hopefully getting them to write stuff that we can use for future editions".
He hopes the combination of print and digital media will give readers a more interactive experience.
"Now it's a case of pushing it further forward and making stuff happen," he said.
The social network/freesheet approach could compete with other free publications, such as LondonLite and the thelondonpaper.
A new Ofcom study has claimed: "The value of social networking sites is clear, both as an entertainment tool but also as a way of creating and giving oneself identity."
