Porsche launches website cinema

Porsche has launched a new interactive application on its website that enables sports-car fans to view official Porsche films in a bid to increase its visitor conversion.
The application even boasts a large-screen display option. Porsche Web-Cinema pools all the films about current Porsche models, technology and development.
It features prize-winning films True to Yourself about the Porsche Cayman S and No about the 911 Carrera 4/4S, which were presented with the Golden Camera Award in Hollywood.
There are also reports from motor-sport events, for example from the entire American Le Mans Series and the Trans-Syberia Rally, and narratives about Porsche history available for download.
The website states: "One of the Web-Cinema highlights is a film recorded from a car on the Le Mans track in 1977. Users can even compile a customised cinema schedule from the selection on offer. Porsche Web-Cinema also includes an archive with the engine sounds and music of the Porsche web specials."
