Database Design
Sometimes referred to as a nasty task, sound database design is absolutely essential to any project requiring dynamic content, or storing and reporting complex data.
We’ve designed databases for a wide variety of projects:
- Content management systems for web sites
- Product catalogues for e-commerce web sites
- Interactive Presentations running on plasma screens at international events
- Complex databases for customer relations management and accounts running on an intranet or extranet.
For large internet-based projects we’ll use Microsoft’s SQL Server 2000 – an industrial-strength database tool which is included on our platinum web hosting option. For smaller self contained projects (for example on a CD-ROM) we’ll use Microsoft Access.
Which ever package we choose, we’ll apply the same attention to detail in designing your database.
